Terms and Conditions

We endeavour to provide you with accurate and reliable information about the vehicles we offer for sale, however the following conditions apply:
  1. A minimum $500 excess applies to all claims.
  2. We will not accept any claims with a value under $500 whatsoever.
  3. You agree that you are purchasing a used vehicle.
  4. You agree that any used vehicle may come with potential faults.
  5. You agree that we can not be responsible for identifying every fault in every used vehicle we supply.
  6. You agree that we will only guarantee the structural integrity of any vehicle we supply for the purposes of legal compliance (roadworthiness) in your country.
  7. You agree that we do not guarantee the following:
    1. Mechanical condition of any vehicle
    2. Brake systems or components
    3. Condition of any tyres
    4. Electrical condition
    5. Interior condition
We inspect every vehicle and provide you with accurate photographs in every case for you to assess the condition of the vehicle for yourself. We take every care to check the mechanical and electrical condition of every vehicle however the above conditions apply.

We will only accept claims that relate to the structural integrity of any vehicle.

All other claims will be dealt with on a case by case basis and will be decided on the basis of fairness and balance of evidence. This means we will consider each case on it's own merits, including the consideration of factors such as the final sale price and/or any other factor that applies to that specific situation.

We will communicate with you quickly and clearly in every case, regardless of our decision(s) or outcome(s). Each claim is weighed on it's own merit, we do not pass the resolution of claims on to potential future sales.

In simple terms, we do our best to provide you with accurate information and a good vehicle, however sometimes things go wrong in spite of the best of intentions. When that happens, as stated above, we will consider each case on it's own merits, however it is fair to say that our default position is to accept claims relating to structural integrity only.

Because our vehicles are personally inspected by our staff, who sometimes make mistakes, we will consider all other claims on a case by case basis as per the terms and conditions outlined above.

AUCTION BIDS:

You must be registered to use our auction bidding system.

Every vehicle you place a bid on will be personally inspected.

Our system shows you if someone has already placed a higher bid when you place your bid. It is up to you to change your bid if you wish to outbid them.

In the event of two identical bids resulting in a sale, the winning bid will go to the bid which was placed first, and in the event of a dispute, we will provide evidence to support this decision.

If you place a bid, you are legally required to complete the transaction if we go ahead and purchase the vehicle for you for the price you bid (or less).

It is up to you to decide how much you wish to bid. It is not up to us to know that you wanted to pay more after the vehicle has sold to someone else. Please place the maximum bid you are willing to pay.

We give you the benefit of each buy, meaning you can check your bid results in the "Electronic Office" area of your account on the website - we do not load our prices and you can easily check them.

We will only accept bids in auction cost ("AUC") format - ("AUC" means "Auction Cost").

Our inspection & export fees are added to the Auction Cost in the event that we successfully purchase the vehicle for you.

Please keep your bids realistic and reasonable, it costs time and money for our inspectors to find and inspect the vehicles you bid on, please respect this.

If you have any special requests for our inspectors, please state them in the "Text" box under your bid price, before clicking "Submit" - (you may wish to specify "non-smokers vehicles only" or "must be dark interior" etc).

Our inspectors will act according to your instructions, so if the vehicle does not meet your specified requirements, your bid will automatically be cancelled.

Our default position is to cancel bids on any vehicles with structural damage or under body rust, and/or any vehicles which do not meet the standard you specified in the notes you wrote for our inspectors.

For information about our inspection, payment terms and export fee structure in addition to car cost at auction, please contact us.
